A threaded point where
there's no second side.
Install a strong, permanent thread in thin sheet, profiles, composites or plastic — from one side, in about three seconds. The rear side stays blind, and the joint stays tight.
Strong threads in thin materials
When you can't reach the back of the panel — a battery tray, a hollow profile, a composite skin — a blind rivet nut creates the threaded point anyway. Our stabilized rivet-bolt and anti-loosening designs are patented, and every style is engineered to grip firmly without distorting the host material.
- Single-sided, blind installation in ~3 seconds
- Creates strong threads in thin or soft materials
- Stabilized rivet-bolt & anti-loosening designs patented
- No access hole on the blind side, no tapping

Use a rivet nut (internal thread) when a bolt will arrive from the outside, and a rivet bolt or stud (external thread) when a nut or another component will be fastened onto a protruding stud. Both install blind; the choice follows your mating-part architecture.
Standard rivet nuts grip 0.5–6 mm sheet; heavy-duty styles extend to about 8 mm. Above that range, or for very soft materials like plastic, we recommend a different anchoring geometry — send us the stack-up and we'll confirm.
Yes — the designs support pneumatic and servo setting tools, and we can qualify feed systems for your automation partner. Consistent body geometry and controlled lubrication are what make auto-setting reliable, and both are part of our standard process.
