Precision fasteners engineered in Indonesia, serving industries worldwide

The screw that decides
tool performance.

Insert-clamping screws in premium SCM435 alloy steel, hardened to Grade 12.9, with a patented groove geometry that keeps carbide inserts locked through heavy interrupted cuts — screw after screw, edge after edge.

Built so the edge never moves

Machining economics live at the cutting edge — and the edge lives at the end of this screw. Our patented groove design seats the driver deeper and transfers torque more evenly, so clamping force stays predictable and inserts stay locked under interrupted cuts and vibration. An X surface treatment stops the screw cold-welding to the driver on removal.

  • Patented groove design for stable, repeatable drive
  • Special X surface treatment prevents cold welding & galling
  • Premium SCM435 alloy steel, Grade 12.9 high-strength
  • Licensed TORX® / TORX PLUS® manufacturer since 2020

Where it performs

Every holder, every edge

CNC milling, turning & boring

Clamping indexable inserts where runout and loosening directly cost surface finish and tool life.

Automotive & aerospace machining

High-volume production lines that index thousands of edges a day need screws that survive the cycle.

Toolholder & cutting-tool OEMs

Private-label and OEM supply with licensed TORX®/TORX PLUS® drives and full traceability.

As a licensed manufacturer, every TORX®/TORX PLUS® screw we ship meets Acument's drive geometry and quality requirements — auditable on request.

FAQ

Cutting-tool screw questions we hear most

A screw that loosens or galling in the drive lets the insert micro-shift under cut — the result is chatter, chipped edges and inconsistent part dimensions. Predictable clamping torque, delivered by consistent drive geometry and friction, is what keeps high-volume machining profitable.

It is a hardened anti-adhesion finish that keeps the driver from cold-welding to the screw head — the failure that strips drives on removal. Combined with SCM435 at Grade 12.9, it gives screws a service life measured in thousands of indexing cycles.

Yes. Toolholder OEMs send us their drive and head prints regularly; we develop tooling, sample in days, and scale to millions of pieces with 100% inspection. TORX®/TORX PLUS® geometry is produced strictly under our Acument license.

Struggling with insert screws that fail early?

Send us a failed sample and your drive size — our engineers will diagnose the failure mode and propose a screw built for your cycle.
