Why insert screws fail - and how ours are built not to
Cold welding between screw and driver under heat, cam-out that rounds the drive, and clamp-load scatter that shortens tool life: these are material and geometry problems, not luck. We start from SCM435 alloy steel at Grade 12.9, add a patented groove geometry and the X surface treatment against cold welding, and finish with licensed TORX® / TORX PLUS® drives that seat deep and true.

Insert screws see shear, heat and cyclic load at once. SCM435 alloy steel tempered to Grade 12.9 gives the tensile strength to hold clamp load and the toughness to survive interrupted cuts - a brittle higher-hardness screw would crack in the pocket.
It suppresses cold welding - the galling between screw head, driver and seat that builds at machining temperatures. Less galling means consistent torque-angle curves, longer driver life and inserts that come out without fighting.
Yes - both are supplied under licence from Acument Intellectual Properties, with geometry held to the drive standard so your torque programs transfer unchanged.
