The flow

1. Wire inspection: chemistry certificate checked, surface and diameter verified per coil.
2. Cold heading: blanks formed in dies, SPC on head geometry.
3. Heat treatment: atmosphere-controlled furnaces, hardness and decarb sampling.
4. Thread rolling: pitch-diameter gaging, surface-quality checks.
5. Machining/secondary ops (for precision specials): CNC finishing on features heading cannot form.
6. Cleaning: ultrasonic or aqueous, cleanliness-verified for sensitive customers.
7. Coating: thickness mapping, friction measurement, color standards.
8. Inspection: thread gaging, optical dimension checks, lot documentation assembly.
9. Packing: lot-coded, date-coded, moisture-protected cartons with certificates enclosed.
